Location: Hyde County, North Carolina

Project Highlights:

Lake Mattamuskeet is the largest natural lake in the State of North Carolina. BPG was awarded contracts for Projects “C” & “G” to develop a detailed existing condition analysis (Survey) for the NRCS Wetlands Reserve Easement.

Location: Hatteras, North Carolina

Project Highlights:

This project encompasses providing existing conditions & topographic surveys for the dock and surrounding area at the USCG Station Hatteras. The survey will be tied to the North Carolina grid system and elevation will be on NAVD 88 datum.

Project Highlights:

BPG was hired to establish benchmark water gauges at the FWS Alligator River NWR located in Dare County.

Location: East Lake, North Carolina

Project Highlights:

BPG assisted the customer in re-evaluating this property and to reassess the volume calculations for the mine site.

Services Provided:

BPG provided the following surveying services for this project:

• Perform a survey of the lake boundary (top of cut slope)
• Perform a survey of the lake bottom using a boat and sounding equipment
• Prepare a map of existing conditions
• Superimpose a grading plan showing the approved mine slopes, allowable excavation depth, etc.
• Perform computations to determine the amount of material available for mining
• Provide an exhibit showing the results of the survey and analysis

Location: Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina

Project Highlights:

BPG provided surveying services related to providing a topographic survey of approximately 10.4 acres. The survey was done to National Park Service standards and will show at minimum site topography, existing utilities, and the location, elevation, and nature of other prominent features.

Project Highlights:

BPG provided engineering & surveying services related to providing site design & approval to construct an indoor/outdoor entertainment center.  Project involved a 10-12,000 SF main building along with outdoor recreational facilities to include miniature golf, an elevated rope course with a zip line, and a climbing wall.

Project Highlights:

Dare County Bombing Range serves as an air-to-surface bombing range for the Navy. The range is also used for select operations due to its location and landscapes.

Project Highlights:

Albemarle Plantation is an established gated residential golf and marina community located on the waterfront of beautiful Albemarle Sound in northeastern North Carolina. Bissell Professional Group is pleased to have provided surveying services to Albemarle Plantation over the course of the past 13 years.

This development consisted of two phases totaling approximately 2,800 acres.

Location: Ocracoke, North Carolina

Project Highlights:

This 3.7 acres site located on the coast of North Carolina, NCCAT’s eastern campus is situated prominently along the shoreline of Pamlico Sound. What once served as headquarters for the U.S. Coast Guard, this fully renovated campus is one of North Carolina’s coastal landmarks and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. NCCAT’s Ocracoke campus includes a conference center, residence halls, dining facilities, and an outdoor classroom.

Project Highlights:

The Kinnakeet Shores Resort is an ocean to soundfront community offering the finest amenities including a swim and tennis club, an oceanfront beach club, and 69 acres of freshwater lakes available for fishing, canoeing, kayaking and sail boating.

Project Highlights:

The site that was chosen for the Manteo Middle School was a 33.8 acre wooded tract fronting US Route 64/264, near the north end of the Town of Manteo. Upon completion, this project consisted of a new middle school, biking, and walking trails, and numerous athletic fields.

Project Highlights:

Project Highlights:

Nucor Steel is a Fortune 200 company headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. They are one of the largest steel producers in the United States, and the largest of the “mini-mill” operators, with one of their Plate Mills being located in Hertford, N.C.

Location: Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina

Project Highlights:

Colington Harbour is an island located to the west of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. The island is located at the converging point of Albemarle Sound, Currituck Sound, Croatan Sound, and Roanoke Sound. While it is commonly referred to as one island, there are actually two separate islands, Big Colington Island and Little Colington Island.

Project Highlights:

Pirate’s Cove Resort is a 500-acre private, gated residential, and waterfront resort community located in Manteo, NC. This private island is surrounded by the Roanoke Sound and protected by preservation land. Amenities include a full-service marina, restaurant, swimming pools, clubhouse, tournament pavilion, and more to service the part-time and year around residents.
