BPG provided the following services for this project:
- The design for the wastewater treatment plant serving the Lane’s
Ferry development is an advanced wastewater treatment process
using the Modified Ludzack-Ettinger (MLE) process for biological
nutrient removal (BNR). - In order to control the level of groundwater on the site, a
subsurface drainage system was placed at a distance of
approximately 200 feet from the infiltration basins. - The collected groundwater will be pumped to the existing and
proposed lakes within the development, which will be used to
attenuate the groundwater flow by providing temporary storage. - Finally, the diluted water will be used to irrigate the open spaces
and recreational areas.
